Mission statement:
To take ownership of public services communication in Cripple Creek and effectively support neighboring jurisdictions.

Goals and objectives:

Encourage and promote city development; recognizing the role of emergency dispatch in public safety, and contributing to a city environment that supports economic growth in tourism and gaming by enhancing public safety and emergency services for residents and visitors.

Taking a callIncrease the efficiency of city government by establishing budget priorities to promote
effective communications and emergency management and completing a thorough procedure review by updating the Dispatch Standard Operating Procedure Manual.

Improve the community through infrastructure projects; obtaining and maintaining 100 percent certification in Emergency Medical Dispatch and National Incident Management Service; obtaining National Accreditation as an Emergency Medical Dispatch Center of Excellence, and improving the equipment and facilities in the communications center.

Enhance the community’s quality of life by creating and implementing a public information program to educate residents on the use, capabilities and limitations of the E-911 Emergency Medical Dispatch system.
