FULL-TIME:

Police Dispatcher-Full-Time, full benefits offered. Salary $33,018 to $38,845 per year, DOE. Job Duties Include: processing emergent/non-emergent calls for Police, Fire, and EMS. Must be able to: monitor and answer multi-channel radios and monitor additional frequencies for adjacent jurisdictions, maintain accurate and current awareness of the status and location of all personnel and equipment; operate computer terminals to enter, query, modify and/or delete data from NCIC/CCIC and CAD systems; maintain confidentiality; and monitor building surveillance equipment. Must also be able to perform well in high stress situations, work within a team environment, assist with various clerical duties and assist the public. Shift work required for 24/7 emergency operations.

Requirements Include: experience preferred; must be 18 years or older, have a valid Colorado Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within 30 days, pass background check, polygraph, drug test, audiogram, computer skills test and other job specific testing.  An acceptable motor vehicle record from any state in which a license has been held within the previous three years must be provided. Police Officer – Full-Time, full benefits offered. Salary $46,460 to $54,658 per year; DOE. The City of Cripple Creek Police Department is now accepting applications for a part-time Police Officer. Patrols assigned beat on foot, or in patrol car to control traffic, prevent crime or disturbance of peace, and arrest violators. Must be 21 years of age or older, have a valid Colorado driver’s license, POST certified, be able to pass all physical and psychological exams, background checks, pre-employment drug test and provide an acceptable motor vehicle record from all states in which a license has been held within the previous three years. Requires a high school diploma or GED.

PART-TIME:

Transit Driver- Part-Time, no benefits offered. $10.74/hour (no CDL), $11.85/hour (CDL), DOE. Duties include transporting visitors and citizens to various locations throughout the City; also will be assisting the disabled as necessary. Colorado CDL C or higher with P1 endorsement preferred, but will be allowed 3 months to obtain. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; 21 years of age or older; pass a pre-employment drug test and background check; provide an acceptable motor vehicle record from any state in which a license has been held within the previous three years. Nights and weekends required.

Animal Control Officer-Part-Time, no benefits offered. Hiring range $13.06-$15.36 an hour, DOE.The Police Department is now accepting applications for a part-time Animal Control Officer. The Officer will perform the day to day activities of the animal shelter operation within the regulations of the Colorado Department of Agriculture Pet Care and Facilities Act; also performs the task of animal control enforcement including patrol and enforcing municipal animal control ordinances. Requirements: must be 18 years of age or older; high school diploma or equivalent required; and possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License. Must pass a pre-employment drug test, psychological exams, and background check and provide an acceptable motor vehicle record from any state in which a license has been held in the previous three years.

Applicant must have at least 2 years of experience as a police officer, as this position will be filling shifts. Must be 21 years of age or older, have a valid Colorado driver’s license, POST certified, be able to pass all physical and psychological exams, background checks, pre-employment drug test and provide an acceptable motor vehicle record from all states in which a license has been held within the previous three years. Requires a high school diploma or GED.
